Yn ystod tymor 2024/25 season, bydd yn canu Tristan yn Tristan und Isolde ar gyfer y Grand Théâtre de Genève a’r ABAO Bilbao Opera, ynghyd â Calaf yn Turandot Puccini a Manrico yn Il Trovatore Verdi yn y Royal Opera House. Bydd hefyd yn perfformio Messa di Gloria Puccini gyda’r National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland.

Canodd mewn cyngherddau yn perfformio gweithiau sylweddol megis Requiem Verdi a Das Lied von der Erde Mahler. Ac yntau’n ddatgeinydd medrus ef a ddarlledodd y datganiad teledu cyntaf o’r Wigmore Hall a pherffromiodd mewn mannau nodedig megis Gwyl Olaf yn Trondheim a’r Auditorium du Louvre in Paris. Ymhlith y recordiadau a wnaeth y mae Macduff yn Macbeth Verdi (Chandos).
Bydd yn edrych ymlaen at ganu rhan Gerontius ym Mreuddwyd Gerontius Elgar gyda Chantorion Menai fis Mehefin.
Welsh tenor Gwyn Hughes Jones has performed leading roles at major opera houses worldwide, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, and Opéra national de Paris.

In the 2024/25 season, he will sing Tristan in Wagner's Tristan und Isolde for Grand Théâtre de Genève and ABAO Bilbao Opera, along with Calaf in Puccini's Turandot and Manrico in Verdi's Il Trovatore at the Royal Opera House. He will also perform Puccini's Messa di Gloria with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland.

His operatic highlights include the title role in Verdi's Otello and Peter Grimes (Grange Park Opera), Radames in Aida (English National Opera), and the title role in Andrea Chénier (Chelsea Opera Group). Other notable roles include Walther von Stolzing in Die

Jones has collaborated with orchestras such as the Academia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Trondheim Symfoniorkester, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His concert repertoire includes significant works like Verdi’s Requiem and Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde. As an accomplished recitalist, he recorded the first televised recital from Wigmore Hall and
has performed at notable venues including the St. Olaf Festival in Trondheim and the Auditorium du Louvre in Paris. His recordings include Macduff in Verdi’s Macbeth (Chandos).

He looks forward to singing the role of Gerontius in Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius with Cantorion Menai in June.
